Good hotel

Very friendly staff. They booked a city tour for us. Everything was very well organized. Breakfast not included, but you can easily find this information on the site

There was a group of young people on our floor who had an all-night party: they went out into the corridor singing, shouting, laughing and smoking. It happened every two hours, at 2, 4 and 6, almost as if they had played a game or some kind of bet. I honestly didn't think to call reception right away which I did too late. I think I was too tired for the travel and the jet lag. Anyway, after my call, the staff took immediate action by sending two of them to knock on their room, which I was able to locate as they still had the music loud at 7am. Obviously, these modern barbarians stopped with their stupid party. No fault of the staff, we were really unlucky. My fault for not calling the staff right away. So, remember: if this will happen to you, just call the staff

Two nights stay at Garden Hotel Muscat

The room was very spacious, which contained a living room and a bedroom. Good quality. The room was equipped with all the basics. Various restaurants and convenient facilities around.

There are not enough bathroom towels, only one big one and two small ones. Not enough for a three member family. The bedroom AC was not cool enough.

Wonderful

- location easy to reach and close from all places. - Staff supportive and helpful, especially Mr. Nizar. - Room is big and the beds are comfortable. -

- TV was not working as no channels and since I came for night, I did not ask for support. - Bath items were not much. - Wifi access code is limited and have specific time to sign in otherwise it is not working.

nice hotel located a long way from tourist area that lacks a professional approach from some staff

Reception staff very good. Large comfortable room

Constant battles with other staff over towels. I know it sounds ridiculous but we booked a room for a family and were only given 2 towels. When we asked for more we were told there wasn't any. Later our room was serviced all the towels were taken and I had to ask for new towels. I was given one. When I asked for more the staff member disappeared. I rang reception and he showed up with one more towel. I asked him for another and he gave me a sulky look before returning with it. These were just some of the examples. We booked a family room and got 2 large single beds and only 2 pillows. Our toilet leaked and we were told it was ok by other staff. We went back to reception asked to be moved and were given a new room. Constant issues with WiFi As I have said reception staff were very professional other staff were less so

The bed is nice. The view from the room is very good.

Drinking water in the room very little. Tissue boxes almost empty and tissue paper in the toilet.

Friendly and good value

Amarah is a very modern hotel. When I was there Sept 2018 it was disdvantaged by being hard to reach due to road construction. This improved during my stay. I wonder if this is why it is classed only 3 star at present. The staff were very friendly including Ganesh, Binod (the chef) and Samir. The restaurant buffet is basic at present but I am sure it will improve as access becomes easier. It is very centrally and conveniently located once you master the temporary road layout.There is a small gym, a business meeting room with computer, and excellent wifi in the rooms

GOOD STAY IN terms of hotel amenities but unhappy because of food menu with unavailabili of veg menu

The beds & room interior was nice. The lightning was good, the carpet floor was good, HOTEL room was big & peaceful. good room service. staff polite & supportive in nature specially Trisha, Pradeep & Ganesh.

TV of no use, no Indian channel like UAE .....no option for vegetarian food in the menu. Struggled a lot in terms of lunch & dinner brought from outside.. limited options in hotel and only Non veg food.

Its a new hotel with huge rooms and so are the beds giving you lots of inside space and roominess. Overall cleanliness is good too.

Pay for what you get!

You pay for what you get is the best way I can put it. However, I didn't expect it to have a rating of 8.2 then find out the condition to be somewhat different.

On arrival, the porter asked for 300bz to move our baggage which is the first time I've ever heard this at a hotel. When checking in we were given a printout wth the password and username but we were not told that there is a procedure to follow on how to connect to internet as you had to enter the http address yourself as no auto direct. This meant I had to go to the reception and they had to do it. The room was classed as a family room for five. However, this is completely misleading and a miss representation as there were only two double beds which means four people; there was no sofa, no extra mattress. I enquired with reception and they told me that they could offer some blankets for which I waited 6 hours. I then had to go and ask again before they finally brought them Meet and greet was a shambles, no one explained about breakfast, facilities etc... Just took the money gave key card that was it Safety deposit box was locked by previous occupants so no way to open and room staff had never checked so it was useless. The duvet cover was stained/dirty. The breakfast was Spartan to say the least. There wasn't one place set for breakfast in the whole dining area. The area had not been cleaned, there was stale bread lying on the floor and we had to wait for the cutlery to be cleaned. The tables were dirty!
